Jane Austen Feature: Submissions Are Open ~ Accepting in a Wide Range of Genres ~ Focusing on Romance for February

Romance Author Jane Austen
December 16, 1775 - July 18, 1817
There are so many love stories to be told - and we're looking for some of the best! We're not just looking for love and romance, but rather love and romance shadowed tastefully with a paranormal twist, an epic fantasy flare, a historical setting, or the mystique of romance in the wild west to name a few. If you have a unique romance manuscript, and are thinking about having it published why not check out JLB Creatives Publishing's Submission Guidelines to see if we are the right fit for your novel?

For something fun, let's look back in time to one of the most well-recognized romance writers, Jane Austen.

Jane etched her mark in the romance writing world by becoming one of the most-read authors of English Literature. The components that have brought her to a historical level are her plots, realism, irony, and social commentary.

She should be an inspiration to anyone wanting to write in the genre of romance. To discover more about this highly talented author please visit Jane Austen on Wikipedia.

We look forward to seeing your submissions come in this month, giving us the opportunity to offer a publishing opportunity to the best of the best.

Thursday Prompt: Grab Bag!

This week we're going to do something really fun. A grab bag challenge! Grab bag challenges are fantastic to improve vocabulary, stretch your muse, and tickle your imagination with just a list of words.

Take this list and use all 10 words in your story, poem, or essay. You must use all 10 but not in this order. If you want a real challenge use them in the order they're listed. *whew*  You can use the word more than once in your story, poem, or essay. The story can be of any genre or word count, just let your muse free and see what you come up with.
