Welcome to the digital "Grand Opening" of the JLB Creatives Blog
My blog will take you through the completion stages of my epic fantasy novel (yeah, the one I've been working on for the last 7 years) right up through the time of publishing. And CONGRATULATIONS - just for stopping by the digital "Grand Opening" you'll be among the first to capture the name of the novel being revealed for the first time to the general public, but you'll have to watch the video to discover what the title is...
Now that you've watched the video - why not play "The Comment Game." It's pretty simple, just type the word "HONK" in the comment box if you like the blog - then tell me what you like, why you like it, what could be better, ask some questions relating to what you found intriguing in the video, or even give me some topics you'd like to see discussed here at the JLB Creatives blog.
Remember, this blog is "kid safe." My goal is to provide fun for the whole family throughout my creative journeys - so please, keep it clean: no profanity, no nudity, no pornography,...you get the idea.
Each week I will also be sharing one of my scenic nature photos along with an original thought from your's truly. Below is Week 1's Pic n' Thought from me, Janet:
~Spread your wings and see where
a cool breeze of faith will take
you today~
LINK OF THE WEEK:
In my novel, I mention a painted bunting. This week's fun link will take you to a site that plays bird songs. The direct link will start you off with the painted bunting. It's really cool to see how many you know and discover some you didn't:
Now start "honking" and let me know what you think. If you think this is a cool blog, I encourage you to share it with your friends and family so they may become a part of my creative journeys as well.
Thanks for stopping by...I'm looking forward to your comments. And please feel free to invite your friends and family to be a part of the JLB Creatives blog. ~Janet~
Here's a sample of what you can do to leave a comment:

ReplyDeleteHey guys - I am posting this from "Anonymous" from an email they sent me asking me to do so. Enjoy!
ReplyDelete"HONK"
So great to meet you. I love this site. Your writing from the three points of view help me to see writing differently. I just read "Swimsuit" by James Patterson and spent the whole time looking for the story from various character's points of view. I SAW so differently. Great advise! Thanks!! Karla1234
HONK!
ReplyDeleteHonk! I think your blog doesn't like me. :( But I still like you! I just have to figure out how to post using my name - Arlyn
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late but ...HONK! HONK!
ReplyDeleteHonk!! I love your enthusiasm and I love you, too, Janet!
ReplyDeleteJanet, Ron and I LOVE your Week 4 posting and Dar's posting!
ReplyDeleteSo that's a Big SHOUT to the illustrations and I think having them throughout the book would be neatest. And Ron also feels that way - that the pictures to be put in coinciding with the story.
So proud of you girls - my bestest friends! God's blessings!
