Janet turned to see the pic Don had up on his screen and instantly said, "WOW. Now that's what I call cool. I think we can do that. Heck, we can surely try, and at the very least we will fail. But we always learn from our failures, right?"
Don shrugged his shoulders and said, "Right."
Janet leaped from her chair. "So let's go for it!" And so they did.
The rest is history. This upstanding couple has worked diligently birthing a passion neither knew they possessed. That passion being the love of creating steampunk, diesel punk, and cyberpunk art. Hence the name of their art line, BeaslePunk.
Since the birth of their passion in this field as makers.artists in December of 2014 they have designed and created punk style vintage hats, masks, and over 50 spectacular cosplay guns and have at least that many waiting in the wings to be invented. In fact, they decided that when they appear at events they would call their exhibit booth The BeaslePunk Cosplay Armory.
Their uncanny, professional knack at making these #MadMax style opulent guns has led to getting their work into places such as Tijuana Flats Tex Mex Restaurant, and the Cackling Hen's Cafe`. For more photos of their "making talent" visit the BeaslePunk Galleries.
They are getting excited (and confess that their entire house looks like a prop barn at the moment) about exhibiting at the Steampunk & Industrial Show coming October 17-18, 2015 at Renninger's Market located on 441 in Mount Dora, Florida.
Janet and Don are keep a secret from everyone, but they filled us in, and let us tell you...you're not going to want to miss what they will have on display in addition to their artwork that will be for sale. We were able to talk them into letting you catch a sneak peek of part of the surprise. Trust us, we've seen the whole thing, and one can only imagine what the rest of this display piece is going to look like!
